Why 244 countries ?

One might think it is easy to say how many countries we have in our world. After studying variety of sources we decided not to go with United Nations or C.I.A. lists which both involve a lot of politics but along with Wikipedia instead.

Some countries come and go and some new appear on the map. It is called history. One can visit the same place twice or more and in each trip to visit different country.
