Why to visit Kenya

See Kenya See Africa

Of all the countries in Africa, none can match the sheer range of scenery and landscapes found in Kenya. No other country contains a greater variety and concentration of wild animals and birds. Nowhere else in Africa is such diversity found in such abundance. This is the magic of Kenya; as evident today as it has always been.

With the gifts of nature bestowed in such profusion, Kenya remains the first choice country to visit in Africa. There is so much to see and do but the difficulty lies in deciding what to leave out of a Kenya safari. The annual wildebeest migration to the Masai Mara is the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle, something not to be missed if you are visiting Kenya between July and October. Kenya is the original safari destination and today the herds of plains game, their attendant predators and the endless rolling grasslands still cast a fascinating spell on all those who see them.

Get off the beaten track on a walking safari, a camel safari or on horseback. There are thousand species of birds to spot, a million pink flamingos to count, over 55 National Parks and Reserves to explore, trails to hike, mountains to climb, golf holes to eagle, trout to catch and people to meet.

And after all this activity in the bush, what a contrast to let go and relax on the white sand, palm fringed beach besides the clear blue water of the incomparable Indian Ocean. If you have energy to spare, you can sail a boat, catch a marlin, surf a wind, learn to scuba dive or simply goggle at the remarkable coral reefs and tropical fish in marine parks.

Above all, Kenya is a feast for the eyes. You have to see it to believe it.

When you see Kenya, you see Africa !!!

Nationals parks and reservations – meeting with wildness

Kenya has couple of national parks. All the parks and reservation are caring by the government as the source of the biggest revenues into the national budget, so they are highly disposed for the tourists. The best known are the Masai Mara, Serengheti, Tsavo and Amboseli. Near the main city Nairobi spread out the reservation named by the same name. In all parks you can lease the cross-car with the guide and visit the wildness closely. Special among the national parks in Kenya are the marine national parks. These are situated round the Great Rift Valey.

Indian Ocean cost

All Indian Ocean cost is filled of many luxury summer resorts. Dreamy white beaches, temperature of the sea round 27° Celsius and beautiful coral-reefs – another publicity the Indian Ocean cost does not need. You can spend the time on the seaside by sunbathing, diving, snorkeling or meeting the culture of Swahili nation in environs. The main touristic centre is Mombasa – the historic town with international airport. And just the beaches in surroundings of the Mombasa are considered as one of most beautiful. You can try the Tiwi or Diana beach south of Mombasa or beaches in Malindi and Lama towns north of Mombasa.
