Flower and orchid walks (click for more information)

This attraction is most valuable in spring. Northern Cyprus is home of many treasures and rare species of orchid and other flowers. Unfortunately, during summer the wonderful colour blanket which can be seen in spring is gone because of hot and dry climate.

When to travel

The weather is always pleasant no matter which season you visit Northern Cyprus. Winter, especially December and January is a little bit wet because of often rainfalls. Summer is usually very hot and dry. The main seasons with most pleasant temperatures and weather are usually April, May and September, October.

Beaches

Beaches are the main dominant of the Northern Cyprus and usually the main reason for tourists to spend their holiday there. The Coastline is about 396km long and offers the safest and finest bathing in the Mediterranean Sea. The sea is crystal clean and is popular for swimming, sailing or skiing. Diving is very popular here because clean water offers great visibility to as much as 30m.

Nightlife

Though Northern Cyprus seems to be quite a calm place, it offers plenty possibilities for entertainment after the sunset. You can do whatever you like. Many pubs, bars and restaurants are opened, you can dance, sing, sit with a glass of wine. You can drink wine in the bar listening to the music and watching lightening harbours or calm beaches.

Why to travel

Do you dream of holiday with untouched beaches, unspoilt nature, great hospitality, touch of the history and without crowds of people? Would you like to take a walk in the nature, relax at the beach, dive in the sea, take a boat trip, travel to visit historical castles, enjoy Northern Cyprus from the air with paragliding or travel into the mountains on the horseback? Then the Northern Cyprus is the right place for you.
