Why to visit Russia

Russia is the is the largest country in the world and is situated on two continents – Europe and Asia. National name of Russia is Rossiyskaya Federatsiya and it means Russian Federation. The capital city of Russia is Moscow – main political, economic, financial, educational, and transportation center. The president is Vladimir Putin. As for the weather, the warmest months are July and August but these months are also rainy.

Culture

The culture of Russia is very varied. You can see unique architecture, various art styles and you can hear unique music genres. Even the Russian alphabet is different – it is the Cyrillic alphabet also called azbuka.

Regarding the architecture, you can see many buildings varying not only in architecture but also in colors. Russian music includes numerous genres like folk music, opera, classical etc. Russian music composers are known over the whole world and also very famous are great Russian voices. The big part of Russian culture is a literature. A lot of famous and well-known writers come from here, such as: Alexander Pushkin, Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Moscow

Moscow (the capital city) is frequently visited because of its popular museums and galleries. Great exhibitions in galleries and museums are very attractive to visitors. In Moscow, you can find theaters (Bolshoi Theater, Vakhtangov Theater), cinemas, parks (The Central Park of Culture and Rest) and many other places for entertainment, relax and exploration as well. The population of Moscow is about 10 million and local transport – Moscow metro – serves about 7 million passengers daily. Very interesting is Moscow International Business Center or Moscow-City . The goal of this center is to include business activities, living spaces and entertainment – a city within a city.

Sibera

Siberia is a vast region of Russia bordered by the Ural Mountains, the Russian Far East, the sea and Mongolia and China. It covers about 58% of Russia territory. Traveling from north to south, the climate changes rapidly. On the north coast there are very short summers and long winters. On the south, where lives almost all the population, is continental subarctic climate. Siberia is amazing untouched area and is known for its rich natural resources.

Summary

As for my opinion, it is not the best idea to visit Russia in the middle of the summer season. It is better to enjoy your stay in months like May, June, September and October, because you will miss rainy months and lots of tourists. Once you are in Russia consider visiting St. Petersburg, formerly the Capital city of Russia. It is another national treasure.
