Anse Aux Pins and Turle Bay Beach, Mahe (click for more information)
Anse Aux Pins is a beach on south-eastern coast of Mahe. Together with Turtle Bay, it is beach with shallow water which is good for swimming and snorkelling. It is interesting to watch sea life caught in a little rock pools at low tide while walking on the Anse Aux Pins beach.

Anse Intendance Beach (click for more information)
This beach is located at southern part of Mahe and is famous mainly because it offers great opportunity for surfing. There are quite large waves, because there is no reef. So Anse Intendance is more visited by surfers then pople who want just swim.

Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar (click for more information)
The Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple is the only Hindu Temple in Seychelles. Lord Vinayagar is a Hindu god of prosperity and safety. Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple was built in 1992.

Ste. Anne Marine National Park (click for more information)

The Bel Air Cemetery (click for more information)
It is the oldest historical site in Seychelles and also first burial ground established soon after French came and settled in Seychelles. The Bel Air Cemetery has a very special atmosphere and it is more interesting then sad place. A nature there is very diverse and aside of sea you can find a lot of interesting things like original original forest on Vallee de Mai or unique fauna.

Places to visit

Seychelles capital city is Victoria located on the island Mahe as well as an international airport. It is considered one of the smallest capitals on the world. Among all the beatiful beaches there is one called Anse Lazio which is the most popular. They are usually not crowded and some of them are considered the best all over the world.

Parks and Nature Reservations

It is told about Seychelles that it´s a place where time stopped. In Vallee de Mai you can see original coco forest. Aldabra Atol – world´s largest coral atoll which is 22 km long - belong together with Vallee de Mai to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Aride Island, Nature Reserve, is a home of many sea birds and some of the species are endemic. There are also Turtle beaches and plenty of undersea life. Cousin Island Special Reserve is the only island from Seychelles with original vegetation. Marine National Park is located at the island Curieuse where mangrove forest is growing.

Culture and History of Seychelles

Domaine de Val de Pres on Mahe island is craft village which introduces original Creol culture including cuisine. If you want to see how tea is made visit a Tea Factory. Amazing experience offers Botanical Garden which is over a century old.

Activities

Most of the activities revolve around water sports. You can enjoy the beautiful beaches of this tropical paradise or go surfing, snorchling or diving. Or you can rent a boat and explore Seychelles on your own. Glass Bottom Boats are good option for those who want to see more of aquatic world. If you want to learn more about unique fauna and flora take a guide walk.

Festivals

FetAfrik is an artistic festival celebrating Day of Afrika, but the biggest and most important is Festival Creol which takes place in October. It is a celebration of Creol people – Seychellois - and their culture.
