Brazil, officially the Federative Republic of Brazil, is fascinating country not only because of its popular carnivals, but also for its nature and rain forests. Rio is famous for its carnival celebrations (roots of carnivals can be found here), which are held usually in February or March, 40 days before Easter – this season is called Lent. The best-known attractions in Rio are the Copacabana beach, the Corcovado mountain with statue of Jesus Christ, national park Tijuca and many other interesting sights.

Brazilian nature is one of the masterpieces of Mother Nature, who was very generous. Rain forests, jungles, wild animals, rivers, waterfalls are dominant here.
