Nile - Down the river

What an experience! Yes it is so so crowded. So many boats one by one so it looks like unchained train. Waiting for water lifts takes hours and hours ( all night actually ) but still its worth to go after all.

Its not all about history but its very much about current development and here clearly you can see how much tourism changes our world. For better or worse ? I can not say generally. It is different for sure place by place. But here its pure tourism. Just in a distance from the boat you see villagers and you imagine that people working for you - The Tourist - have much better life then those down there on muddy banks of Nile. But are they happier ?  I doubt.
