Italy: Sailing on the Lake Garda

Sailing on the Lake Garda - Lake Garda, in the north of Italy, is the largest Italian lake. Lake Garda is divided between three regions: Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige and the Veneto. Especially the south-western coast is popular with sailing and surf fans due to its glamorous landscape and the best wind conditions. There are also many sailing schools for beginners and a number of competitions, including the famous Centomiglia race in the first half of September.
