Namibia: Windhoek
Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia situated just in the centre of the country, is an attractive place to see. Due to its colonial history, German influence is still present in the city. Unlike other African cities, Windhoek has become a relaxed and peaceful city and at the same time one of the cleanest and safest cities in Africa. Once you come to Windhoek, you should definitely see the Tintenpalast (Ink Palace) which houses the national parliament, the Christuskirche (Christ Church), the statue - the Reiterdenkmal and the Alte Feste (Old Forte). Worth seeing are also Namibia's National Museum and most importantly the monumental Supreme Court building.
