Austria: Upeer Styria (Steiermark)

The mountainous region in the middle of the country is also called the green heart of Austria. There are three main mountain massifs – Ötscher, Dürrenstein and Hochkar. The slopes are covered by woods, limestone rocks and green meadows and cut by tiny valleys and canyons with ravening brooks.
